I decided to change gears a bit and post something a bit more personal about myself....I've seen several other photographer friends post this on their blogs, as well as received it in an email, and I find it very insightful!
I AM … lucky.
I WANT… to live life to the fullest.
I HAVE … the best support system in the world...my family and friends.
I KEEP …everything! (No seriously, I'm a packrat!)
I WISH I COULD … stop worrying about things I have no control over.
I HATE … turmoil.
I FEAR … losing those close to me.
I HEAR …my dog whining because she wants a treat (Okay, we couldn't get too deep here, gotta keep the mood light!).
I DON’T THINK … KU is going to win another national title. At least I hope not.
I REGRET …burning bridges in the past with those I shouldn't have.
I LOVE …meeting new people and helping them capture great memories.
I AM NOT …a petite person. At all.
I DANCE …quite fabulously, if I do say so myself!
I SING …when the muse strikes me.
I NEVER …go a day without thinking about my family.
I RARELY … turn down a pair of shoes or a purse!
I CRY WHEN I WATCH …animals suffering.
I AM NOT ALWAYS ….the most optimistic...in fact I can be downright cynic. :-)
I HATE THAT …sometimes I don't take myself seriously enough.
I’M CONFUSED ABOUT … religion.
I NEED … a vacation!
I SHOULD …be myself.

It was raining buckets all day and we thought we might have to cancel, but luckily we didn't! Although the sun didn't quite make it out for us, it was still a beautiful (to me!) evening for Jessica and Dave's engagement session!
Congratulations on your recent engagement and I wish you the best!

We just moved inside! Last night I had the honor of spending some time with the Jones family and it was awfully chilly for early September! We had planned to do some shots at their home, then move to the park or downtown for some more, but as life so often does, we were thrown a curveball. So we improvised! After grabbing a shot or 2 outside with their sweet dog, we headed into the warmth.

Thanks you guys! You were a lot of fun!
