Turkey Day is almost Here!
Tomorrow is one of my favorite holidays! It's a great chance to see family, enjoy great food and have a good time, as well as to reflect and be thankful for what we have. It might not seem like much at times, but I think it's important to really stop and think about these things.
Okay, enough semi-deep thoughts from me, and a couple of things....
First, everyone who sends me a photo of their Thanksgiving table spread will be entered in a drawing to win something cool. Very cool...like a way cool picture frame!!! Send them to kathryn@everydayyou.com, pretty please! I will announce the winners next week, so you gotta get them emailed to me by Sunday night.
Second, due to the fact I was out of town last weekend, I'm extending holiday card deadlines to December 3rd. We need to have a final design settled on by then to allow for time to get your cards back from the magic place that makes the cards appear on paper, and, *gasp* to allow time for any mistakes! (surely the mistake wouldn't be mine though, I never make mistakes! ;-) ha ha! )
Third, have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

The Gravers
After numerous emails back and forth, I was excited to meet the Gravers in person...and they exceeded all my expectations! What a fun family...and they are professionals at having family pictures taken. ;-) We even got a couple with the family dog (because hey, he's a part of the family, right?)
I really enjoyed meeting all of you!

Old Friends
In this day and age, good friends can be hard to find. But in Gus and Dally, Rusty has found some great and dependable companions.
Oh yeah...I guess he's got Jessica (his lovely wife and my good friend) as well! ;-)
All kidding aside, I had a great time capturing the great relationship between Jessica and Rusty, as well as their 4-legged family members as well.

Charlie
It was cold and nasty out during this photo shoot, but Charlie was a trooper and we got through it with her good sense of humor. Even when I drug her down a freezing alley that was little more than a sunless wind tunnel, we were laughing (although we couldn't feel our fingers, but hey, I digress).
Best wishes to you Charlie! I know your strength, intelligence and sense of humor will get you through whatever life throws your way...and congrats on being a senior!

Mr. J's blond curls
J not only has the cutest blonde curls I've ever seen, but he also has incredible eyes! Mom and dad, I predict you'll be beating the girls off with a stick in about 17 years!!! Team those features up with some super adorable overalls......you've got quite the little man.
I am so happy for you and your family.... and your little man is so sweet!

Until next time!

3 Years
I couldn't believe when an old friend reminded me her 3 year anniversary was coming up earlier this month....it doesn't seem like it should have been so long already! Yesterday I headed down to Heather and Erik's for some fun, outdoor photos. The weather was pretty nice but we were getting a bit cold by the time it was done!

This was a good excuse to get out their custom-made matching chinks!

Congrats on 3 years and counting!

Fall Family
Ahhh....I just love the colors of fall, and the crispness in the air. It ended up being an unseasonably warm day, but the morning was perfect for a family photo session!
Thank you for letting me get to know your family a bit better over the year...you guys are great!
Just a moment of playing in the leaves.....

Check out miss I....quite the fashion plate!

Although the fall colors are great, I couldn't resist a black and white!
