Last night I attended the 2009 Christmas Tree Auction, a fundraiser put on by the Hays Area Children's Center. A few years ago I was in charge of this event, which was rewarding and fun, but it's nice to go as a guest and donor! An Everyday You gift certificate was auctioned off, and I can't wait to photograph the recipient next year!
Because I 1) love shooting at the Fox 2) love Christmas things 3) have a hard time leaving the cameras and home 4) support the Children's Center, I took a few pictures throughout the night:
Have I mentioned that I love the Fox? How cool is it?!

One of the beautiful trees sold as part of the fundraiser

It was quite a sight!

Every year Fred...I mean Santa.....helps out! What a great guy!

This is such a fun event with tons and tons of great holiday finds, good food, and a wonderful time! If you are interested in donating an item next year, contact the

It's finally here....the full SNEAK PEEK!
When I first met Clint and Gina (and Alice, Clint's mom) at our consultation, I was quite excited by the thought of a Halloween wedding...the details they had planned sounded incredible!
The day was finally here, and let me tell you, the
Fox Pavilion looked AMAZING thanks to hours and hours of decorating!
We started the day with Gina getting ready in the upstairs dressing room.

Gina's dress was a-mazing. Let me say it again....a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

The gorgeous table settings were just perfect!

The cake table looked fantastic, as did the cake itself!

As a gift to their guests, Clint and Gina set up a lavish spread of candy, and provided cartons for guests to take home their favorite treats.

I'm not gonna lie, these candy skulls were my favorite candy, plus they're pretty!

The invitation and dress rehearsal reminder were so cool..... gives a new meaning to tying a string around your finger to remember!

Gina's gorgeous bouquet

Once again, the attention to detail: AMAZING. Check out the uber-fab Clint's cufflinks:

Gina rockin' red and silver eyelashes and her gorgeous vintage jewelry!

speaking of vintage, here's a little vintage-processing:

I loved the special drink collection offered to guests - this one was my favorite - it looked so good!

As guests were seated for the ceremony, the bridal party chilled in the cigar room off the bar area.

I cannot tell a lie...the Fox is amazing!

After the ceremony, Clint and Gina got into costume and we hit up the dressing room for a few portraits.

The food was delicious!

Nothing like seeing your name in lights! (or at least on the marquee ;-) )

First dance:

Clint and Gina, your wedding was amazing! I wish you the best of luck and enjoy your honeymoon!!!
