Sweet Baby I - Kansas Baby Photographer
Babies are one of my favorite subjects to photograph....even when they don't sleep a wink! Miss I was not havin' it in the sleep department, so we were able to go with a more lifestyle approach. That's great though...and one of my favorite ways to photograph.
Soooo cute...look at all that hair!

Staredown!

...and I couldn't resist, just one of the kitty that looked so sweet, but liked to play so rough :-) Ah well, he looks innocent enough!

Thanksgiving and a Black Friday Family Session!
Last week was, of course, Thanksgiving. I spent the day with family, and for the first time in a long time, took my camera. My youngest nephew was born just about 2 months ago, so I was hoping to get some pictures of him with his great-grandparents....and I did. Although these shots aren't the greatest, I don't care and I love them. :-)

My older nephew who was helping me....then took a break and ate most of our hard work!

On the day after Thanksgiving, when many were scouring the stores for crazy awesome Black Friday deals (okay, I'll admit...I went out for a bit!), I spent part of the afternoon shooting an extended family session. Just a few from it:

the cutest baby ever....
...of course I'm partial, as he IS my newest nephew!
On Sunday I had a short amount of time to take a few shots of baby C. He was awake by the time we got started so I wasn't able to get my favorite sleepy shots, but he's still pretty darn cute! Don't you agree?

Handsome Baby C
Okay...as promised, here is Mr. C! Such a handsome little fella with the most serious facial expressions I've ever seen! He wasn't really into the whole sleeping scene, so we went with what we had and worked with what he gave us.
All snuggled up

Does he not look deep in thought here? I can just hear him saying "hmmm....that IS interesting indeed!"

We ventured outside for a few family shots, and although I have others, I really liked the angle of peeking over their shoulders and catching a glimpse of their view.

Just a sweet moment!

Thank you for letting me into your lives and homes, it really does mean a lot to me!

Gorgeous Baby K
Wow...I've gotten so far behind blogging it's not even funny! So......this morning you will be treated with some images of the gorgeous Miss K, and then a little later this morning, a preview of adorable Mister C. As I'm flying to Tennessee this Friday to help the fab Melody Hood with two weddings, it was a rush to edit and get the preview up, but I am confident it will all be done in time!
I digress..... on to baby K!
Such a sweet little girl! Even at one week, one day old she still looks just like she did when I visited her and her mom and dad in the hospital.

I can tell she's going to be a daddy's girl!

just a bit of symbolism!

THANK YOU for letting me be a part of your lives...It really means a lot to me!

Sisters
I first met Miss I and Miss J in May, at Ty and Brandi's wedding (which I did indeed blog about on here!) Shortly after the wedding, I was contacted by Brandi's sister, Stacey, about hanging out with the girls for a few hours and capturing their personalities.
So, we gave it our best shot! As you can see, Miss J didn't sleep a wink, she was too afraid she would miss out on something way cool and exciting! And Miss I, the incredible big sister, was such a cutie and fun to work with (and was really enjoying her red lollipop!).
Here are just a few from our time together!
